Ken began his career in financial planning in 1997, focusing on the LGBT market.  As a Certified Financial Planner, he focuses on wealth management, retirement planning, and estate planning.  Prior to Periscope Wealth Management, Ken worked for 22 years at Merrill Lynch followed by 3 years at Ameriprise Financial.  Ken is a graduate of Western MD College (now McDaniel College) where he double majored in Economics and French.  He also has a Master of International Management from the American School of International Management (now a part of ASU) where he concentrated in finance and Japanese.  During grad school, Ken won a scholarship to complete one semester in Japan.  Prior to AGSIM, Ken devoted two years to the Peace Corps in Togo, west Africa.  Ken has twin daughters, Keira and Alexandra, who currently attend high school in Brookline, MA.  Ken resides in Providence, RI with Gabby and Phin (his beagle and German Short-Haired Pointer).  Ken’s hobbies include woodworking and gardening.
